I recently turned off my system thrice by pressing on the power button on my CPU due to power failure and eventually a UPS low backup :) .Now my PC boots faster.I thought this was good...but the speed came from the free space in RAM achieved by not starting KIS 2009(Kaspersky Internet Security 2009)...Then when I checked in task manager the CPU was rattling at a 100% and was trying to start up KIS(avp.exe)...but the app wasn't being loaded up even after an hour!!!I tried manually ending the process avp.exe but it said:
-Operation could not be completed.
access denied- :)
Right now I'm not running any AV programs!!!! Help me...!!!Also programs like CCleaner couldn't be executed even though an entry is made up in the process tab in task manager....What do I do? :)

I'm quite worried cause while using the internet i've seen KIS block a lot of network attacks...but without any Internet Securities.....it could be trouble!!...

Don't i have a choice of escape.....Am I doomed???

If the above doesn't work, find service PID number (through Task Manager), go command prompt, and run this:

taskkill /PID service_pid_number /F

Sir/Mam....i couldn't uninstall kaspersky....but it says....'failed to stop services...make sure that you have sufficient privileges'...even if i was looged in as an administrator......So i tried creating a new account(administrator) and uninstalling..but...Data Execution Prevention program blocked Windows Explorer..saying it could be a virus or a malicious program.....a..sorry for something else...it's now that i remember that my sister surfed the web without kaspersky running....which was stopped to play a game offering it better memory space by stopping kaspersky....what do i do???....I think it's this virus which cause all the problem.... :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
