Did something stupid, deleted something i shouldnt - thought it was a adware thing and all of a sudden internet explorer gives me a dns error.

i've gone to tools internet options and typed in my my address and port. but still no luck. used the network diagnostic tool AND got this result

Internet Explorer Web Proxy 173.14.21.30 FAILED
IEProxyPort = 80 + IEProxy = 173.14.21.30 (PASSED) Server appears to be running on port(s) [ ]

On my colleague computer the last line has an 80 in it [80] mine remains blank. WHAT DID I DO? IS IT FIXABLE?
