Wireless Network Connection

So today i turned on my laptop and sumthing in the corner flashed up at me and said that it had connected to a Wireless Network. So I had a look closer and it said Wireless Network Connection (Peer-to-Peer), Speed: 11.0 Mbps, Signal Stength: Low, Status: Connected. It tells me that the network is called CLA1. So I was wondering what can i do with it and what is it? Also I was wondering if i can use it to connect to the internet and how?
