Hi,

I am looking for a blu-ray player for my laptop. It came with the drive, but it has no software to PLAY them! Kind of useless, don't you think?

I am desperate to access the BD-Live features on my Transformers blu-ray, but I don't have a cable long enough to connect to my blu-ray player on my TV (go figure...)

So, what software is there for me? As long as it's free and simple, thats good enough for me.

Oh, and it freezes when I use my trial for PowerDVD, so... that one is out of the question.

Thanks! :)

Hello,

There aren't to many free players that I know of, but I heard good things about Intervideo WinDVD, you may want to try a trial of this before you purchase.
Good luck.

Windows Media Player Classic claims to play the DVD Blu-ray. It is a nice little program. I have not used it for blu ray, but have for other files.
