my hard drive is not listed in the bios boot priority list the only thing listed is my dvd-rom, although the hard drive is shown in the drive configuration part of the bios. so my pc wont boot up to windows. please help

Have you tried last known configuration? or safe mode?

Start tapping F8 at bootup to get to the loading preferances.

can you add the hdd to the boot order ?

does your motherboard support the F11 boot options ?

keep tapping F11 at boot to see if you get the options screen, if you do then its a start
