Trojan horse Agent2.LFN

Everytime I open a browser, my AVG resident shield alert reports that "Trojan horse Agent2.LFN" has been detected. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling browsers. The trojan did not pop up after I uninstalled Internet Explorer 8, but when I reinstalled Firefox, it appeared again. This happens on both Internet Explorer and Firefox. Any help would be appreciated.
