hi all

i hope this is the correct place for this if not i do apologise

anyway i have a friends laptop that refuses to display webpages via IE

I can do a ping and tracert to google etc and both are successful so i know there is a valid internet connection

have scanned for virueses and malware and removed everything

however its still the same

is this a hosts issue?
