I got a virus, and had computer rebuilt using OS cd provided for my HP Pavillion dv1000, purchased 2002, so installed XP Home SP2. (BTW, now when I look at properties, says SP3). Anyway, compter used to have sleep/standby/hibernate mode, and would sleep when screen closed, or as option to restart or shut down. Now there isn't even a Hibernation tab option in Power Management to turn on. I went to HP site, followed instructions, but nada. Still no sleep option. Any fix for this?
