Hi, I have an old computer with windows 2000 preofessional. Recently I've removed a few unused applications via Remove / install program under control panle. After that I start having this problem. Windows hangs in logo page forever with about 70% progress shown in status bar, or black screen with the same under safe mode. I've tried to use floopy set up kit but it doesn't work. Seems like it doesn't recognize my CD ROM either. When I start the computer the light in Flopy slot lit up but not the CD ROM. I also tried to use USB External CD ROM but Window doesn't recognize it either. Please let me know what is the right way to start to make my computer works.
Thanks!
Amy
