Internet Explorer Not Working!

Hi There!

I just recently purchased a new laptop which I use at home with ethernet connection. It was working fine for the first couple of days but for the past week I have not been able to open Internet Explorer. Everything says that the internet is connected, however when I try to open the internet I just get the "internet is not responding" page.

Please Help!!
