Hi
I've had an issue with audio popping when I play a media file for a few weeks.
I've scoured the net for answers and figured I'd try a few more times before I just cleared it and reinstalled windows.
Let me try to offer as much info as I can and please ask me for any relevant info I missed:
-The audio doesn't stop popping if the wireless card is turned off
-Restarting the computer temporarily fixes the popping. Eventually it does return, typically after a few hours of use.
-The CPU usage and memory doesn't appear taxed when the audio pops.
-My computer has been overheating more regularly. Not sure if that is related.

This is the dxdiag info for sound devices:
