Hey guys!

I'm setting up a brand new build for my in-laws. Just built the computer, 500GB hard drive. Unfortunately I forgot XP is different than vista and partitioned 50GB and installed XP there- effectively eliminating the other 450 GB.

I stuck the XP CD in while running windows and selected re-install, but now I cannot delete that partition to start over since it has setup files on it. I tried using dos for format C: but it didn't wipe it- I could probably delete the files individually, but don't want to mess anything up too bad.

So.. when I run the CD on start-up, it is not working because of the set-up files...

suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
thank you!!

So I went ahead and did a repair to try and get rid of the setup files on the partition.

Now, when booting I can't get it to boot from the CD. I changed the boot order in the BIOS but when it says "push any key to boot from the CD" I hit enter, spacebar, and nothing will get it to boot from the CD.
