Hello,

What drivers do you need? The drivers for the OS come installed with the CD. Do you need drivers for an external device or something?(Webcam, Speakers, etc..?)

Those are motherboard drivers..

If your friend built it himself and bought the parts, a CD of drivers and things would have come with the motherboard. Call him up and ask if he has it :)

What is your make/model of the motherboard?

-Jason :)

Download SIW from HERE and get the Standalone English version
It will install itself and when finished
Then Click on SIW Icon to run program
On the left side click on the Motherboard directory and then on the right, copy and paste the information in your next reply

I opened it up and the only thing that I can see is that it says it is a Intel Desktop Board. Where do I find the model?

Agreed rshaffer61 :) , but you can go here instead if you want. The 10th one down is the same file as rshaffer61 suggested, and there are also the drivers for PCI, video/audo ports and USB. You only need the ones for your operating system.. so basically you need 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, and 10.

Hey rshaffer61, and Jason but I guess I am going to have to try this tonight after work cause last night after I got these messages had to go to the hospital with my wife she is almost nine months pregnant and was having contractions. But this time it was a false alarm. I will let you guys know if these work or not when I try them

Thank you rebelz1

That is a great reason to not be here rebelz1
Congrats on the baby coming soon I hope.
I would suggest that you follow OpenOutcome's link as his is easier to follow then the one I supplied and he has gone to the extent of telling you exactly which file you need first.
The other files I suggest you get also and burn them all to a cd for future need.
Always good to have them in case of something like this happens again.
Please let us know how it works once installed. We will continue to monitor for your results.

Congratulations on your baby which is soon to come, these computer problems hardly matter in comparison :) Just try them when things aren't as hectic and you have time :)

Good luck, and hope all is well~
