Hey guys, new to the forum; but certainly not to technology. :)

For those who own a MacBook/MacBook Pro, I have a question for you guys. From what I have heard in the recent months since I purchased a MacBook, I've heard from a couple people (I forget who told me this) that if you have a MacBook/MBP with the AppleCare extended warranty, you can have the machine cleaned out of any debris and have it put back together again within a couple hours or a day. Is this true?
I also have a missing piece of plastic that came off my MacBook about a month ago. It's not that big of a piece, maybe about a 1.25" strip from the top right. Can I get it fixed? Thanks a lot!
