well... I got 500gb new harddrive it has Vista OS on it...
I took out old harddrive from my old pc and put it onto new pc...
It detected it.. but its hard to access my user files... It says I don't have permission to access the files =(
its only my user cause I had password on it =(

ive tried to change it's settings but can't cause im new to vista

edit: Had a quick fiddle...
Properties of the file..(have to do for the files inside the folder aswell)
Properties>Security>Permissions> then tick on NETWORK SERVICE for full control

then only i can play the songs and stuff... I need to do it for all single files.. when i do it for a folder... i need to do same for sub folders and files...

Need a easier way help!!!

Install this right click add-on: http://www.winmatrix...showtopic=13157
It'll let you take ownership of a whole folder.
