Hi,

Welcome to GeeksToGo.

I'm not one to be able to recommend anything much but I can tell you your graphics card will suffer.

It has a poor FPS rating for most higher games of something around 15fps on some which basically isn't playable and will lag like crazy.

Looking also your processor will probably be to slow to run the game smoothly even on the lower than recommended settings. Therefore some upgrades will be required. The minimum game specs are below:

# Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz or equivalent AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz
# Memory/RAM: 1GB for XP and 1.5GB for Vista
# Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 or 256MB ATI X1900
# Hard Disk Space: 16GB free
# Operating System: Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP1

However there is nothing stopping you trying it, but I would not advise buying it if you haven't got it all ready. You could however try a system benchmark and see how far off you are. Go Here and then select GTA 4 from the drop down list. Then click Can I Run it and see how far off your really are.
