Dear all

Recently i was forced to rebuild my laptop after a trojan worked it's way through my security. Since rebuilding my pc, hardware such as one of my two headphone outputs and my inbuilt mic have not worked and are reportedly not connected. How can I "reconnect them"?

Thanks all

By rebuild what do you mean?
Are you meaning you had to reload OS
Format and reinstall everything?
Did you use the recovery cd's to reload?
Did you use the Recovery partition to reload?

So you did a repair installation and not a fresh install?

I'm not sure tbh i don't know the difference. I rebuilt the system from scratch reinstalling all aspects of the machine because the trojan had got itself everywhere.
