Hi,

I am trying to import a simple albeit large (10million record) table from a text file. An example of the records are:

1989/Mar/22 15:20 8.4
1989/Mar/22 15:21 8.4
1989/Mar/22 15:22 8.3
1989/Mar/22 15:23 8.3
1989/Mar/22 15:24 8.3
1989/Mar/22 15:25 8.2

(date, time, value)

The import seems to go fine and when I open the table in Access it appears as above. However, when I query from the table, Access seems to 'recognize' some, but not all of the time values.

For example, if in my query, I set as criteria for the time column:

=#3:20:00 PM#

Access returns:

1989/Mar/22 15:20 8.4

(no surprise here, this is what I want)

If, however I set a different time, say:

=#3:24:00 PM#

I get a blank record!! For some reason Access is not recognizing this particular time...

Even stranger, if I ask for

> #3:23:00 PM# and < #3:25:00 PM#

it IS able to find the 3:24 record...

I'm kind of at my wits end here - have tried re-importing the text file, and Access still can't 'find' the exact same records, even thought they look (and should be) identical in format. Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!
