screensaver hotkey

hi there everyone, i was wondering if there is a hotkey you can press to activate the screensaver immediately? i seem to remember there being one years ago. im on xp now. many thanks in advance :-)

As far as I know there is no shortcut key for that directly. You might look into HandyThing. (Scroll down a bit). I use the WebShots Desktop Screensaver and Wallpaper Utility (free). You can set the key used if it conflicts with another program. I have mine to start when I press Ctrl + Shift + Q. I'm sure there are other utilities you can use.
