I have a dell laptop and it will not fully booth up. It goes thru the process and gets to the window/user screen and when I click on the user it just sits on next screen vostro and does not go any further.

I have tried doing a system recovery and it does nothing.

Any suggestions.

How about Safe Mode?

  • Restart your PC.
  • On the very first logo screen(before Windows) hold or repeatedly press F8 until the Advanced Menu appears.
  • Try Safe Mode first, and if not - try Last Known Good Configuration.

Any luck? Report back with results..
