Hello, I am using a toshiba tecra, and I have a problem with booting up the computer. It says NTLDR is missing. I have found instructions to fix this problem. It involves booting from a cd. The problem is when I get into the BIOS menu to change the boot priority, I cannot select the boot priority. I can only select the date and password, which says not registered. What do I need to do to select these options? or is there another way to fix the ntldr missing?

Thanks

What model Tecra and did you try tapping F12 then selecting the boot device using the left and right arrow keys?

It's a Tecra A1. F12 doesn't seem to do anything. To get the BIOS menu I have to tap esc and then hit F1. It's just that when I am in the menu, I cannot move the cursor to the boot priority option. When I use the arrow keys to move the cursor, it only cycles through the date, and the password fields.

Anyone have any idea? It seems like a fix is so close, it's very frustrating.
