PXE-E61 Media Test failure, check cable error

I'm stuck with this PXE-E61 Media Test failure, check cable error on my laptop and it will just stay there.
It happen after I put my laptop on the table,
(I was holding the laptop on the bottom left side and it just shut down and restarded
to that message )
I have try the recovery cd but it will say ( no hard drive found )

I have try a couple thing I found on website but nothing work

Laptop is a Compaq presario 2000

Hi

The PXE-E61 message means the laptop is attempting to boot from the network. This normally only happens if there are aren't any other bootable devices available.

Can you go into the bios & check to see if the hard drive is being detected? It sounds like it isn't but I want to be sure.
