Ok, i am no PC wizard so bear with me. Every time i attempt to play/open a game (e.g. BF 2142) i get this error message: Please ensure Battlefield 2142 Install disc is in the drive, select OK and restart the application. I have this scan thing and it says i have an incorrect application path.

Here is what it says is wrong: The file referenced does not exist. key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/App Paths asOELnch.exe=/asOELnch.exe

Now i dont understand any of that. If u need any more info. just ask.

Oh......one more thing ever since i got this PC i got an error message whenever i logged in. But nothing appeared to be wrong so for 2 years i just thought it meant nothing cos nothing seemed to happen. i will post error message. But plz help me! :)

Here is the error message that i get whenever i log in:
PRISMCEG.EXE-Entry Potint Not Found
The procedure entry point ?AMACGetBand@CWrapProfil@@QAEJPAJ@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library PrismApi.DLL.

One thing i fergot to mention in my last thread was that my PC can play DVD Videos, CD's (audio), CD Rom's but not DVD rom's. This could be due to lack of Drive space but once every 3 months or so after having this problem it will be able to read the disc ONCE. After that one time it's another 3 months before a disc can be read again. This has sometimes caused blue screens but not very often. My PC can install games onto my PC but it can't read them when i attempt to play them. If i look on my computer DVD drive etc under volumes it says (when i click populate)

Type: Unknown
Status: Unreadable
and 0MB for all the space and all that. Thanks for any replies.
