If you open the desktop folder, right click an icon then click send to then desktop, it should go there

What virus was this?
Please post more detail as to what happened with the virus and how it was cleaned.
When the issue started
What steps have you taken so far to try and fix the issue.
Also need some computer specs.

Memroy total
Hd total and free space.
