Operating system is Windows XP. Program is MSOffice Outlook 2000.

I was running the email program when it crashed. Tried to restart but no luck. Removed program from hard drive and tried to reload, but get the following message:
Error writing to file: c:\Program files\msoffice\office\outlook.exe.

Recently loaded ThreatFire anti-spam program but problem developed several days after installation.

Can you help?

Thanks - Ken Yeager

I am pleased to report that problem is resolved. I removed all MSOffice functions from the hard drive, defragged it and also removed what may have been an offending spam program. After rebooting, I reloaded all MSOffice programs and wonder of wonders, it worked.
