My Windows Vista's IE8 is not working. When I open it, the window opens, and immediately a pop-up message saying: Internet Explorer has stopped working" appears. What might be the problem?

First port of action: Uninstall all the toolbars.
Start -> Control Panel -> Programs & Features.

NEW (and weird IMO) DEVELOPMENT
IE works when I finished installing/uninstalling Freecorder Toolbar; it takes me to a website (in IE) thanking me for installing or asking why I'm uninstalling.

Does this mean anything?
