okay so i just finished setting everything up in my dorm room and i have a desktop and laptop on my network. the problem is that the desktop can't connect to google, but my laptop can. it comes as an annoyance as i usually use google and i can't access my gmail account. so does anyone have an idea to whats happening???? in order to connect to the internet i had to register my router to the university network

Um, I think you're doing something wrong.

If your university has internet access, why are you using a router?

nvm i figured it out, i just cleared all recent history and it fixed it
