I was born in the US and live in the US and I bought a brand new computer tonight in the US. I turned it on and the Vista was setting up in German. I changed the region and language to English using a german/english dictionary, and it still is all in German. I have used my laptop to navigate the control panel and change all of the settings to english and remove the german settings. I restarted and nope! It's still all in German. Any clues as to why, or better yet, what to do?

Howdy and welcome to GTG:

Yep, same answer as your other thread.

Take it back and have them put the proper operating ststem on it (English version).

There is no reason you need to troubleshoot a brand new system.
