I want to build A gaming computer and I'm wondering if the Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT will run Crysis on medium-high settings

yes it will, especially if you get the version with 1gig of ram. More ram = better performance (to a point). I would strongly suggest that you consider either a 9800 or a 4870 (ati) depending on your budget. Keep in mind that Crysis can bring most video cards to their knees at the highest settings.
