Hello Mary Poppins.... Welcome to GeeksToGo, :) :) :)

I'm sorry to hear about your issue. We will try to help you resolve this as soon as possible.
Please understand we are all volunteers and we are not here all the time. Sometimes it may be a extended amount of time to get back to you. If it has been more then 3 days please shoot me a PM and I will try to get to quickly then.

Have you tried to go to the Boot Menu by tapping the F8 key on the second black post screen?
Once there try scrolling down to the line that says Last Know Good Configuration and highlight it. Then click the Enter key.
Does this work?

UPDATE: I tried the boot (as suggested) but no help. I get this message when I try to print:

Could not open: C:\Program Files\WordPerfect Office 11\Config\corelapp.ini

ALSO:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Corel\WordPerfect Suite\11

Value: ConfigDir in the Registry

Do you have your original serial number for Word Perfect?
If so then it may be possible to help.

What version of WP do you have?
I can find a trial version and since you already have bought and owned the serial number then you should be able to insert your serial number and it should be back up and running.

Well this is going to be bad news.
I have looked through dozens of sites and I can not find a trial version to send you to.
Can you try to borrow a copy from someone to reinstall?

Another option is to try and use the built in Word program in windows to open the files.

There is a trial version on this site. Would it help to download it? Further instructions on exactly how to download if it will help, please. THANKS!

The above should be all in one line.

I do not see a link to the download of the WP11. The only link is to the newest version and I do not believe the serial number you have will work for that.
The best option at this point is to contact Corel Customer Service at 1-800-772-6735 and explain the issue. They may be able to send you a replacement disk since you do have a legal registered serial number for the product.
The cost if any should be very minimal.
Please let me know if this works for you after talking to them.
I will continue to monitor this topic for you and await your results.

Thanks for your help. I downloaded a repair program but it didn't help. Also, I emailed Corel with my information. Will let you know what I find out, if anything.
