My nvidia quadro fx 3800 graphics card has dual display ports and a dvi port. I was just wondering if I should stick with the DVI port or get a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and use my DisplayPort? My monitor does not have a DisplayPort slot. It only has DVI, and HDMI. I have a ASUS VW266h monitor. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to get the best resolution. The graphics card says it supports up to 2560X1600

It will do no good. On computers, the digital video with DVI and HDMI is exactly the same. The primary difference is that HDMI includes 5.1 audio as well. Don't forget, HDMI came out of the home theater world.
