antivirus stopping the internet

hello, i recently uninstalled my eset antivirus software inorder to install avg's latest software. however in doing so i have no internet unless i bootup in safe mode with networking or i uninstall the antivirus software.

i dont know what has happened however i did have some trouble uninstalling eset antivirus because it kept saying that another appication has exclusive access to it or something along those lines, so i booted up in safemode and uninstalled it from there.

i have tried diffrent antivirus sofware's since this has happened but the same thing has happened every time.

does anyone know what the problem could be?
