Yeah i did try but all the links are dead. i get this everytime i try to download:

"This webpage is not found.

No webpage was found for the web address: ftp://ftp.packardbell.com/pub/itemnr/6996...1/drvcdc131.exe
More information on this error"

Is there any other place i can find them? i've spent 2 days on this, i managed to install my audio but i still have my SM bus controller and an unknown peripheral in my device manager

Your problem is due to the fact those are all drivers for Vista, NOT for XP.

At the top of the download page is an option to get the XP drivers via a cd.

Try that.

Also, why is your XP version coming up as "Trial Version"?

Direct Link
Click on the tab that says Driver
You will see a list of drivers. Just click each and download. Once all are downloaded then burn them all to a cd for future reference.

I did. Works like a charm for me.

Also, what did you use for an XP cd?

Those drivers are for Vista. The OP dumped Vista and installed XP.

Tried again to download the CD, this is what i get:
No webpage was found for the web address: ftp://ftp.packardbell.com/pub/itemnr/6996...1/drvcdc131.exe

For XP, i have a MSDN subscription so i downloaded the iso and burned it on a cd. I have a legal serial and all that (that was your question right)

Suggest you contact Packard-Bell support. They may be able to get the driver cd for you.

Without it, you are stuck it seems.
