Toshiba satellite wont start

My Daughter is away at school and before the first day even starts her computer wont start.

She had it on and left the room to do laundry and when she came back it was shut off. No other people around. She tried to restart it and it gave her the "computer was shut down improperly" screen and she hit enter and it shut off.

She tried to restart it again and it asked "launch startup repair (recommended)" or "start normally" She says she picked launch repair but the computer shut down anyway. Help her out please !
