Hi! I was wondering if you could really help.Well, you see, I used the link you gave me with the iso and everything. I inserted and went ot hte recovery console. But, I can't seem to get it to C:Windows. (I type cd windows). Instead, I just get C:> or something. Anyway. Like that, I try to run the bootcfg utility, and just like that person, it says IMMEDIATELY it failed to scan....I'm trying to sue this to repair a hal.dll problem. Could you please help me? Please?
I have an XP Disc, but it's not hte same version. But it shouldn't matter. I've already used "copy" in the recovery console intalled on my computer for hal.dll to go to system32, but "expand" won't work either, and it says "cannot create hal.dll". I'm sure all the drives are correct.
PLEASE HELP!
