I have -1 ram slots O.o? Also Ram width

The crucial scan said I had 2 slots I opened my PC and there were 4 now I get -1 slots lol? Is this a bad thing or a crucial screw up? Also the ram I had I noticed was a bit wider (length wise not fatter) then the Ram I had in my PC does that matter?

With respect I think you're looking at the wrong thing inside the PC.
What is your motherboard model please, or your computer make and model?
