The ERDNT back up is executed from C:\Windows\ERDNT. Go there in Safe mode and open the lasted dated folder, or the folder you suspect will fix your problems. Inside the folder you'll see a "green" ERDNT icon. Double click on it to run the restore. You will need to restart your machine later.

After it restarts, and even if it boots ok, I advise you still create a post in the Malware forum to have your machine checked out. Please go HERE first before posting and run through the directions.

the virus wont let me run it

Restoring computer to some earlier data won't kill an infection.

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
