hi, my old computer died on me last week, i took the hard drive out and have been attempting to put it into this computer, it nearly boots up and i get a glimpse of the blue screen but then it returns to a black screen asking me how i want to start windows ( the one that appears if the computer had previously suddenly turned off)

does anyone know whats going on?
or have i lost all my work?

thankyou

Under XP you cannot change the board and expect it to work. It will need repairing.
