Well I got hit by a version of the smitfraud virus, i managed to clean most of it out.

But i cant seem to fix my homepage
it redirects my hompage to StartSearches.net

any help would be appreciated :tazz:

Hi samuler, my name's Alex and i'm here to help you.

Please save HijackThis in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

I can see from your HiJackThis log, you have traces of several trojans on your PC, namely Troj/Dloader-LN and Troj/Puper-A.

Please run an online virus scan at:I would also like you to run a scan with both Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware

After these steps have been completed, please reboot your PC and post a fresh HiJackThis scan and we'll go from there. :tazz:
