Asparagus sauteed in Sage Butter!

BTW, asparagus is a BIG thing here in the lowlands (Holland, in case you didn't catch that). At a certain time of the year (reaping), there's an unbelievable serge of everything that you can eat of that vegetable. Asparagus ice-cream, hmmmmm, not yet. But don't be surprise if you ever hear in the future about Dutch asparagus ice-cream (I can see it now - Ben and Jerry's "Dutch Treat that smells like feet". Hey... look, if we can build dikes to keep the North Sea at bay, reclaim land from what once were seas, develop a BLACK tulip and make the BEST cheese in the world (sorry, this is non-negotiable), then somehow we'll find a way to make asparagus ice-cream. No kidding, we're very inovative. :)

I love asparagus. We actually grow it, but nothing like you are talking about.
