hacked my hotmail / how can i check?

I am pretty sure that someone has hacked my hotmail email account. Is there anyway to find out for sure?

Not really.
Change your password in Hotmail. Use something unique, not guessable and don't make your secret question answer something that is guessable.
Failing that Hotmail is owned by Microsoft. You'll need to take the issue up with them.
