I have a Lenovo hard drive that, after I login to windows xp and the icons start to load in, the monitor goes white. I tried to start up in 'safe mode' and it still does the same. Even 'last known good configuration' setting. All goes to a white screen.
I press Ctrl, Alt and Delete and NOTHING.

Any suggestions?

This is interesting :)
Many reports of blue screens and black screens but white screens?

Have you tried a different monitor?

The monitor is fine up to a point when it starts drawing in the screen icons. I can see the Windows XP logo, the login in screen. Then turns to white or white-ish. I didn't try the monitor on another computer to see what happens.
I'll post that tomorrow. :)
