yes, uninstall it, then after you uninstalled it, scan for hard ware changes
Something will pop up saying in the upper left hand corner: Add New Hardware Wizard, click next, that is what you want

I did not get a wizard, I got the relay ufd back in the disk drives. How do I set to have a wizard come up?

I uninstalled it again and went to control panel to add hardware wizard. Is correct?

that wizard just puts it back in the disk drives section.

Wait, If it is under disk drives, that is where it should be. Is there a yellow circle next to the Device in Device Manager?

NO! If there is no yellow circle and it is under Disk Drives it should be Working! GO to My Computer again and see if it is listed there, then you will be able to access your files

I tried an update and allowed it to go to wondows update - it found nothing and clicking the drive still gets a "please insert disk"

The computer thinks this is a floppy or a CD, yet the drivers seem to be the right ones. And, it does not matter what computer I put it in, same thing....?
