What do you mean by "3 days"?

I mean if it's been on for 3 days.

The computer has been on for 3 days?
Restart it?
Restart it?

When I restart the problem goes away until it has been on for 3 days. The reason I am asking is because this never happened with XP nor Vista.

You may have some program(s), which has a memory leak.
Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

Intel Core Quad Q6600
4GB RAM
80GB HDD, 50GB free HDD space
I have Avast installed, and Comodo Internet Security (Running just as a firewall not antivirus)
Also I'm using Windows 7 64Bit

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.micro...s/bb963902.aspx
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Go File>Export As, and save AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
Attach the file to your next reply.

Hmmm...I don't see anything out of line.
Try this...
After those 3 days of your computer being up...
Download Process Explorer: http://technet.micro...s/bb896653.aspx
Unzip ProcessExplorer.zip, and double click on procexp.exe to run the program.
Click on View > Select Colunms.
In addition to already pre-selected options, make sure, the Command Line is selected, and press OK.
Go File>Save As, and save the report as Procexp.txt.
Attach the file to your next reply.
Create report while playing something with WMP.

It looks like "Steam Client Service" is eating up your CPU cycles.
I suggest, you set up that service startup type to "disabled" or "manual".
