I've tried to install the software you wanted me to install.
I got an error message at the end of the installation process...

i STILL HATE SIS products


go here

in the first box pick windows xp
in the second box pick IGP graphics drivers
in the third box pick sis650 & sis740 series
then press go (bottom right)

pick a location from the drop down box under "SiS UniVGA3 Graphics Driver " that's close to you and press download now

enter the code and press download now

extract the files to your desktop (or somewhere where you can find them) and open the folder...and run the setup.exe
