Look I had a problem with my PC when suddenly changed my usual connection to the internet to another unknown (called xxx or something like that). I removed the dialer (or I think I did). How can I be sure that I completely removed it and how can I be safe from thiw kind assaults?

Waiting for your answer I found out that I had another, not serious problem. I can't hear through the speakers my modem calling, I hope you understand whay I'm talking about. Does this have something to do with the dialer?

Hi, I have a simple question for you but very important to me!!
There is nothing wrong with my connection to the internet, I see what I expect to see (acci or panafonet). Is there any chance that I get connected to my server through another server and not directly!! To explain you better: is there any chance that my PC connects to another server (XXX or spmething) and through that connect to my ususal server so I finally get overbilled and still see that I;m connected to my ususal server????
How can I be sure????
I followed your instructions but until I get the phone bill I'm afraid that my PC still haw a dialer installed and don't know it!!!!!

There are no signs of any dialers on your system. Also, if you do get unexpected charges on your phone bill from a dialer being installed on your system ask the phone company to remove them. You don't have to pay it.
