I have this really annoying problem for the last 4 months or so.
I have Acer Aspire 5633WLMi and its 15.4" LCD Screen.
My problem is that my destop only shows at 1024 x 768 whereas usually it should be 1280 x 800 or something like that to fill up the whole screen. The rest of the screen then is just black and the mouse doesnt even go there.
I have Intel 945 Chipset. I downloaded the latest drivers for the chipset and installed it and it seems to open the list of resolutions fully till 1280 x 800 but as soon as Shutdown the Laptop and then start it again, the whole thing messes up again.
Can someone please tell me how to correct this problem once and for all.
