DVD's won't play after computer cleanup

I had a horrible issue with my computer, but someone on this forum helped me clean it up. The computer is working great now, but I can't get the DvDs to play. windows media player says fix the screen resolutions, media center says decoder problem. Any clue?

As for WMP, probably, you have some codecs missing.
