Hi all,

Hope i am posting this in the right place, i have just found your forum and thought i would join and help where i can.

I was asked by a friend to look at their XP computer the other day because it keeps freezing randomly.

Could somebody please look at the log below, the computer that it is from is XP and keeps freezing randomly. It works fine at times but then it will freeze. When ever you right click 9 times out of 10 it will freeze and if it does not freeze then it will freeze when you click an option. Opening my computer also makes it freeze regulaly. The only way to get it to un freeze is to go to task manager and end "explorer.exe" and then to create a new task and start explorer again.

All help and advice will be great.

Cheers

Could be Malware activity, but you can only get advice about that from techs who have a lot of experience and training in that.

You need to go to the Virus, Spyware and Trojan Removal board. Read and do everything in This thread.

Once you're done, start a new topic in that board and post the requested Logs. If things are still freezing up after a Tech there gives you a clean bill of health, come on back to this thread. :)

Best of luck!
