I'm thinking about upgrading to Trillian Astra, but from what I can see it looks like bloatware. Also, I'm not sure if it's free or not. I'm currently using Trillian Basic 3.1, but lately there have been issues with Yahoo connection errors so I am considering an upgrade. Those of you who use Trillian know what I am talking about. I was just wondering if anyone out there has upgraded from Trillian 3.1 to Trillian Astra? If so, what do you like/dislike about it?

Trillian Astra gives you 29 days free of the Pro and then defaults back to the free Astra. The latest version fixes Yahoo's change to their server connection. Astra also allows you to connect to just about every service you can think of.

I don't think the update to Trillian basic solves the Yahoo problem, but you can try to download/install latest:
